About Us

I was that dad with a camera, huge lens, and a tripod on the sidelines of all the different sport, band, and boy scout events. When my lovely wife (Sara) presented me with my first digital SLR in 2011, I was bitten with a serious drive to learn more, shoot more, and shoot with other photographers in developing this craft of image making. Years followed, improving my skills with many creative and themed group photo shoots plus the occasional wedding or family portrait.

Today, Droke Photography offers a variety of professional portrait and headshot sessions in the Southern California area. In 2023, having retired from a career in the corporate world, we added a home studio to offer local sessions at a lower cost. And some of our photo sessions are still done on location where we bring the studio to you.
