Training & Continuing Education

Our Story

Droke Photography began, like many great things do, started without a grand plan.

For years, David was the one behind the camera at family events, kids’ sports, and community activities - simply because he loved capturing moments that mattered.

After a long corporate career, that passion evolved into something more intentional.

Together, David and Sara have built a studio experience designed to serve their local community with: ‍

  • Professional-quality images

  • A relaxed, welcoming environment

  • And pricing that makes professional headshots more accessible

Today, what started as “the dad with a camera” has grown into a trusted photography business serving professionals, teams, and creatives across Southern California.

Our Approach

We know that most people don’t like being photographed. ‍

That’s why our sessions are intentionally structured to remove the guesswork and pressure:

  • Clear guidance on wardrobe and styling before your session

  • Direction and coaching during your shoot (no awkward posing)

  • A streamlined image selection process

  • Professional retouching that enhances - never overdoes

‍Whether in our Corona based studio or with our portable setup on location, we create an experience that feels relaxed while producing results that look anything but casual.

Four portraits of adults and a woman, all displayed on mobile phone screens. The first woman has dark hair, is smiling, and wears a black blazer; the second young man has brown hair, a serious expression, and wears a black shirt with a blue tie; the third man has short blond hair, a slight smile, and wears a dark suit with a striped tie; the woman has curly hair, sunglasses on her head, and wears a beige scarf with a white top and gray pants, standing outdoors with arms akimbo, against a cloudy sky.
